Governor Perdue: "Plenty of Gas"
------

With regards to the second story, I am glad to hear that the state government plans to prosecute any and all gas station owners found to be pulling the old "bait-n-switch," which in this case would be having the price posted as one number on their sign and having the actual price on the pump set at something different. The same will be done for those who unreasonably jack up their prices, or so they claim. Now let's see if they actually do it.

The reason cited for the majority of the gas issues in Georgia at the moment stems from the loss of power to the pipeline that supplies us with most of our gasoline. Hopefully it will be taken care of over the weekend and things should be a little closer to normal come next week. I'll be counting the minutes, skeptically.
